Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate user needs and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes using  industry-standard product design tools.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to ensure that design concepts are feasible and meet with both business and technical needs.

  • Iterate designs based on feedback from users and stakeholders, ensuring that user-centered design principles are upheld throughout the development process.

  • Work closely with the UI engineering team to maintain an intuitive, consistent and visually appealing interface that aligns and enhances brand guidelines.

  • Advocate for the user throughout the design process, promoting usability and accessibility best practices to create inclusive experiences for all users.

  • Experienced in developing comprehensive user journey maps that streamline security protocols, enhance user experiences, and ensure seamless navigation in complex network environments

Achievements:

Created and developed a comprehensive Firewall User Journey Map focused on use cases for reducing the number of firewall support issues. This map of user workflows reduced the number of support calls by 10% per month, saving the company 100 dollars /avg per support issue.

Played a key role in the successful redesign of the Sophos endpoint protection software, resulting in an increase in user satisfaction and a 20% reduction in customer support calls for EPP

  • This DMV product’s UX, UI, and Visual Language has become the design language for all IDEMIA based SaaS and Enterprise level systems

Qvidian/Upland Software, Chelmsford, MA  |  Dec 2015 – Dec 2016

  • Lead the effort to redesign and re-architect the main SaaS, cloud, and mobile products for Qvidian embedded Salesforce applications. The resulting effort was an entirely new Product Experience, User Interface, and Visual redesign. This effort ultimately resulted in the largest customer sales acquisition in the company’s history

  • Lead the effort to maximize user engagement and cement powerful corporate/brand user interfaces and experiences

  • Instituted and gained stakeholder buy-in for a new “content first” strategy. This effort was adopted product and company wide as a new Qvidian direction and UX Strategy

  • Directed the design and implementation of the first Salesforce1 mobile experience leading to significantly increased product usage and user adoption

  • Developed Loanet’s first web-based trading and inventory system.  Original systems converted from IBM Tandy mainframes

  • Worked with executive leadership and cross-functional team members to effectively develop superior web, mobile and UXD solutions for Loanet Financial Services

  • Partnered with internal teams to develop and launch Silverlight Software Development Kit as a stylized design kit for engineers.
